multitasking
dog walkers
all ear budded up
appearing
to be
talking into
thin
air.
I am sorry but
you just missed
a morning
breeze coming
out of nowhere.
It started with
the gentle
quaking
of leaves, then
the tall
grass quivering,
A
soft
cool
feather
like
brushing on my
skin.
Culminating
with the turning up
of the corners
of my mouth
Into a smile.

It’s ok,
they have
talked to me before.
I just have to
translate their
message.
These yellow
aspen
leaves
floating
down
to the carpet
of
multi colored
leaves
already resting.
This whole moment
framed by this
November blue sky.
What are they saying?

Pinwheels for Chakras
Sometimes I move my breath up &
down my central channel in long,
slow brush-like strokes.
Sometimes my chakras turn into colorful
little pinwheels, spinning on the soft sweetness
of my breath.
Sometimes I can actually feel my prana
riding the breath, seeing it as light
& the pinwheels sparkle with color.
Sometimes the pinwheel chakras
turn into whirling vortexes of energy
leaving me feeling ethereal.
Sometimes this whole experience
leaves me feeling beautiful & peaceful.
I like it, it feels good!

A storm is coming!
The robins are having a songfest
in the bare branches of
the trees.
I guess they didn’t watch the weather
report telling us an arctic blast is swooping
down from the north that could bring 6 inches
of snow, and a blowing wind
that could make it feel like 30 degrees below zero.
No, they just keep on singing, hopping
from branch to branch, swooping from tree
to tree.
They seem happy & content eating red berries
from branches
that tomorrow
could be covered in
snow.

take it,
use it,

make it your own.
use it to greet
the sun,
to say a prayer,
to celebrate
a sun set.
share it with
loved ones,
teach it to
your grandkids.
use it any time
you want.
don't make a
big deal about it.
if you have 5 minutes
do 2 sun salutations, if
if you have
more time
do a 100!
and smile
while you
do them.
if I teach you
a sun salutation,
it's a gift!
