A storm is coming!

The robins are having a songfest

 in the bare branches of

the trees.

I guess they didn’t watch the weather

report telling us an arctic blast is swooping 

down from the north that could bring 6 inches 

of snow, and a blowing wind

that could make it feel like 30 degrees below zero.

          No, they just keep on singing, hopping

from branch to branch, swooping from tree 

   to tree.

         They seem happy & content eating red berries

from branches

                       that tomorrow

                              could be covered in 

                     snow.
