she tells us something funny

 



She Tells Us Something Funny!


My daughter, Sarah,

 calls my wife on her

way to work.

JoAnn puts her phone on speaker

so I can hear.

She tells us a funny story 

about something that happened

yesterday at work.

As she tells the story

Its like little bubbles

of joy rise up 

and pop in 

laughter and happiness.

We are all smiling. 

She is happy

JoAnn is happy

I am happy. 

The sun is out, the sky is blue

the yellow and red leaves are

 quaking in a  light breeze.

It is a good morning.
