A Cartado Poem
Hot cartado with
a leaf design floating
on top.
Bubbly water in a
short glass to the side.
Relaxing guitar music
playing in my ears.
Gray October sky
outside.
I slow down my
mind by watching
the black ink flow
from my pen
onto the page.
Ah!
Now I have
arrived.
